Books

I keep the written work in its own lane next to what Carroll Media Group does on camera and on stage. If you are here for a film or a live room, those doors stay open elsewhere on the site. If you are here for the books, you deserve a straight answer about what each one is for, without a hidden upsell on the way out.

These titles span about seven years. I am not the same voice on every page, and I would not pretend otherwise. What holds steady is the promise to the reader: honesty on hard subjects, handled with dignity.

Book titles

Kindle edition cover: The Three I's, memoir and self-examination by Andrew Carroll.

The Three I’s: How to Intelligently Use Your Past to Intentionally Define Your Future for Immediate Success Now!

Memoir and self-examination from lived experience: patterns that break trust, what that costs over a long life, and how to look at the past without flinching away. Written for men who are in it, not for spectators. Readers have been generous in their reviews on the marketplace; the move I want is first-party sales here, with a real cart, when the storefront is wired.

Kindle edition cover: Scared Little Poet, poetry and prose by Andrew Carroll.

Scared Little Poet

Poetry and prose in one volume: love, loss, abuse, and what comes after, in a voice that stays semi-abstract on the page but never vague about the weight of it. Same end goal as the memoir lane: buy here when checkout is live.

Followed: How to Reclaim Your Sovereignty in the Age of Digital Surveillance

Final draft, still in editing, not on shelves yet. It is for people who are tired of being told to relax about privacy while the ground keeps shifting under them. When it is ready, I expect it to sell only here. If the best form turns out to be audio for some readers, I will say so on this page when that decision is firm.

About the author

Andrew Carroll is the author of The Three I’s, Scared Little Poet, and the forthcoming Followed. These books span about seven years of writing life, and he does not pretend to be the same voice on every page. What stays constant is the promise at the top of this page: honesty on hard subjects, handled with dignity. That holds whether the book is naming patterns that cost trust and relationships, love and loss and healing, or questions of privacy and sovereignty in a digital age, without sensationalizing the people involved.

Poetry and language were already his lane before Carroll Media Group took shape as a studio: open mics, long nights, and the discipline of saying true things carefully. He keeps the books in their own lane next to the film and stage work on purpose, so this page stays a straight conversation with readers, not a detour into someone else’s production.

The road to these pages ran through compliance-heavy roles, facilitation at scale, and a pivot toward poetry and media when the old script stopped fitting. None of that is decoration. The books are where he does the slow work of saying what that pressure changed in him.

I am not interested in a pretend checkout. When purchase links go live, they will be real. Until then, if you need a signed copy, a reading, a series, or a bulk order for a team, say that in your note when you reach out so it gets routed the right way.
